To provide administrative supervision of the Center’s clinical programs, clinical supervision of designated staff, and to assist the Center’s Chief Executive Officer in the overall management of Center Clinical Operations. The Clinical Director provides overall clinical planning, management and direction for clinical programs of the Mental Health Center and ensures that the identified mental health needs of the residents of HMHC service area are met through the provision of effective, high quality and cost efficient mental health clinical services. The Clinical Director also directs quality assurance, risk management, and utilization review activities for the entire agency with a goal of improving the quality of client care while minimizing risk for both the agency and clients of the agency.
Requirements: Masters or doctoral degree with Kansas BSRB license as a: (1) Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Master Level Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist; or (2) Licensed Master Social Worker (Clinical Track) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker; or (3) Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with Mental Health Training track or equivalent mental health experience; or (4) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with four years of clinical supervisory and managerial experience required.
